Transcript [00:08] So I watched this video once and it's a [00:10] guy who goes around interviewing people. [00:13] He finds this young man and he tells him, [00:15] what if I gave you $10 million dollars? [00:17] Would you take it? [00:18] I would like that. [00:20] He says, of course. [00:21] Sign me up. [00:22] But wait, there is a catch. [00:23] The catch is I will give you the $10 [00:26] on the condition that tomorrow [00:28] morning you don't wake up. [00:30] There's alway a catch. [00:30] Yeah. [00:32] So the young man says, what? [00:35] What a terrible deal. [00:35] Nobody will take it. [00:37] And the interviewer [00:38] says, this is the point. [00:40] The point is that waking up tomorrow [00:42] morning is far more valuable than having [00:45] today $10 million dollars in your bank account. [00:47] Wow. [00:48] That's so true. [00:49] It's quite the way to [00:49] prove it, the point. [00:51] But we take life as granted so much [00:53] of the time and it's so precious. [00:55] That's true. [00:55] I really think that life is [00:56] a foundation for everything. [00:58] Like without life, we [00:59] wouldn't have a foundation. [01:00] We wouldn't have family. [01:01] We wouldn't have memories. [01:02] We wouldn't have experiences. [01:03] We wouldn't know God. [01:04] We would never be forgiven [01:05] because we were never alive. [01:06] It's the foundation. [01:07] It's the foundation of everything. [01:08] Like and that life that is the foundation [01:10] of everything is God Himself. [01:12] Yeah. [01:13] And it's contrary actually to what [01:15] evolution teaches because evolution [01:16] teaches that there was the right [01:18] conditions, right environment and life [01:21] just with time [01:22] develops, evolved, you know. [01:24] And there are some things that do evolve. [01:26] I mean, you have like the clouds, God put [01:29] the earth and the sun and the water and [01:30] that does form by itself or thunder or other things [01:35] There were no conditions or environment [01:37] that could have made life evolve. [01:39] It's a supernatural thing. [01:41] It comes straight from God. [01:42] Yeah. [01:43] And what amazes me is how God chose to [01:46] form this life, you know, from what? [01:49] From like dirt. [01:51] You know, like dirt, [01:52] the most invaluable thing. [01:54] You have it everywhere. [01:55] You never like find yourself, oh man, I'm [01:57] lacking some dirt, you know. [01:59] Like, but God could have [02:00] chosen like gold or like uranium. [02:04] Like at least something [02:06] valuable material to create us. [02:09] But no, He said, I'm going to take the [02:11] most invaluable thing, dirt, and I'm [02:14] going to create the most amazing thing, [02:17] life into this dirt and [02:19] making it a living soul. [02:20] So He like, He literally gathered dirt, [02:22] put it in a bucket, sorry, put it on the [02:24] ground and He breathed in His life into [02:28] us to make us a living soul. [02:29] He's the source. [02:30] He's the source of life. [02:31] It's so beautiful. [02:32] Reminds me of Psalm 36 talking about Him [02:34] being, finding a fountain of life, that [02:37] He is that life and He is the light [02:39] through which we see [02:40] and able to see the light. [02:42] And that connection between life and [02:44] light, we have it in John 1 also, that it [02:46] says that in Him, in Yeshua, was life and [02:50] life was a light to humanity, to humans. [02:53] So in Genesis, we have that God creates [02:54] light before there's even a sun. [02:56] Yeah. [02:56] So He really is the source of light. [02:58] Yeah. [02:58] Reminds me of the other day, we didn't [02:59] have light and we had a big storm and the [03:02] light went out, the [03:03] power went out actually. [03:04] Yeah. [03:04] We stopped immediately. [03:06] Take your phone. [03:06] To get the phone, put [03:08] on the flashlight. [03:08] But we stopped because you can't, we [03:10] didn't want to move or do anything I hate [03:12] in the dark, like getting up in the [03:13] middle of the night and stubbing my toe. [03:15] It's the worst. [03:16] You have to stop. [03:17] You can't move in the dark. [03:18] You can't really advance when it's dark. [03:20] And I'm not speaking [03:20] just about dark room. [03:23] In life, when someone has darkness over [03:25] his life, he's stuck. [03:28] He cannot move. [03:29] But when God shines his light into your [03:31] life, then you can grow. [03:33] You can move. [03:34] You can continue. [03:35] You can evolve. [03:36] It's good. [03:36] And there's also another thing, like [03:37] whenever you, there is light in the room, [03:39] you can really enjoy the beauty of it. [03:40] So like I made a... [03:41] Your project. [03:42] I did. [03:42] I did a DIY project in the girls' room of [03:44] like a floral wallpaper. [03:46] And at night, I couldn't enjoy its beauty [03:48] obviously because everything was dark. [03:50] But once the light did come [03:51] on, I really enjoyed in the daylight. [03:52] You cannot enjoy beauty [03:53] when there is darkness. [03:55] There's so many people that really are [03:57] living in that darkness. [03:59] Like they don't have the light of God [04:01] shining in their life. [04:03] That beauty is missing [04:04] because his light isn't revealed. [04:05] And not only beauty, but also depth. [04:09] When you think like we can have this [04:10] conversation now with our eyes closed. [04:12] That's fine. [04:13] We can communicate. [04:14] But when you open your eyes, you see, I [04:17] see Levi's facial expressions. [04:18] I see that like... [04:20] Wow, the experience [04:21] becomes so much deeper. [04:23] And when God shines His light into your [04:24] life, life becomes rich. [04:27] It becomes meaningful. [04:28] It becomes deep. [04:29] So like in Hebrew, we have the saying [04:31] חיי את החיים [khai et ha'khaim] Living the life [04:32] So it's really someone that lives his [04:34] life to the fullest. [04:35] Yeah, we have it also in Spanish, right? [04:37] So someone that... [04:38] Makes memories. [04:40] Achieving so many things, [04:41] experiencing so many stuff. [04:42] Like it's... [04:44] He's living his life. [04:45] So it means actually that there's people [04:46] that don't live to the fullest. [04:48] That you can live life without that. [04:50] I guess we can even look like we have the [04:52] plants and the trees. [04:54] They're technically alive. [04:55] But they're not living like I'm living. [04:57] And a lot of people that... [04:59] That's their life. [04:59] They're living not to the full potential [05:01] and what the Lord purposed [05:03] and planned for them to live. [05:04] Yeah yeah. [05:04] And it reminds me of Jeremiah 2, right? [05:07] Like Jeremiah was just [05:08] dedicated to be a prophet. [05:10] And he receives his first prophecy. [05:12] Go to the Israelites and tell them you [05:14] have done two evil things. [05:16] Wow. [05:16] One is that you left me, the source... [05:20] God calls himself the [05:21] source of living water. [05:22] And two is you went [05:24] out and you dug holes. [05:25] You dug cisterns and [05:27] these are broken cisterns. [05:29] Yeah, you can really sense the pain of [05:31] God that he's saying, you know, like... [05:33] You... [05:33] It's not like you have left faith or you [05:35] have like my commandments. [05:36] He's left to me. [05:37] Yeah. [05:37] That's what hurts him the most. [05:38] Yeah. [05:39] I think it's even more than like him [05:41] being hurt or offended. [05:42] I think he's really worried [05:43] and concerned for his people. [05:45] Like his chosen people that they left the [05:47] source of life for broken cisterns. [05:50] Like who does that? [05:51] What are they doing? [05:52] And in our part of the world here in [05:53] Israel, in this desert, obviously it's [05:56] green, but it's winter. [05:57] Right now. [05:59] In our part of the world, it makes much [06:00] more sense how crucial it is [06:02] to not leave the source of water. [06:04] Also, like we're not [06:05] like in Europe, right? [06:06] We have like rivers and [06:07] lakes and forests and like... [06:08] Yeah yeah yeah. [06:09] It's very different here. [06:11] Yeah yeah yeah. [06:12] But right nowadays... [06:14] You have water running in your house. [06:15] You have faucets. [06:16] You can turn on the water. [06:17] Just turn it on. [06:18] But in those days... [06:19] it wasn't so easy [06:20] The only way, if you want to stay alive, [06:22] you can either choose to live [06:24] next to it like this stream, [06:26] like next to a source of living water. [06:29] Or you can dig a hole. [06:30] Like a cistern. [06:31] Yeah, like the cistern we [06:33] filmed the Gate of Heaven. [06:35] Sha'ar Ha'shamaim. [06:36] Yeah. [06:37] It's like you would dig a big hole and [06:40] really hope and pray to [06:41] God that rain would come. [06:42] Yeah, send the rain. [06:43] Fill up the cistern. [06:44] And you would also hope that it would [06:45] even fill it up enough. [06:47] Enough. [06:47] That it would last till [06:48] the next time that it rains. [06:48] Because if not, if it gets empty and the [06:51] rain doesn't come, you're pretty... [06:52] That's it. [06:53] Finish. [06:53] Also, there's lots of work that you get [06:54] to seal its walls, so the water doesn't [06:56] go down to the ground. [06:57] Yeah. [06:58] It just disappears. [06:59] So basically, there is... [07:01] You can drink water. [07:02] You have to drink water either from a [07:04] cistern or from a living source. [07:06] And when you drink from a living source, [07:08] the water that you drink today is not the [07:11] water you drank yesterday. [07:12] It's true. [07:12] It's not the water you [07:13] drank a week or a month ago. [07:15] It's new every day. [07:17] But when you drink from a cistern, the [07:20] water you drink today is the same water [07:21] you drank yesterday and a week ago. [07:23] And from the last time, [07:25] that the rain even fell. [07:26] Yes true. [07:27] Yeah, so it's also like in cisterns after [07:29] some time, the water just sits there. [07:31] So it starts getting a smell, changing [07:33] colors, maybe starting to [07:34] become a blue with that green... [07:36] Also that green stuff. [07:38] Like it's contaminated. [07:39] And it gets contaminated. [07:40] You can't really drink from it. [07:41] Yeah. [07:42] And God says, "Israel, you have chosen [07:44] the second option, which [07:46] is the least good option. [07:49] You have went and you [07:50] dug your self-cisterns." [07:51] What makes things worse is that Jeremiah [07:53] says that the cisterns are broken. [07:55] Wow. [07:55] That's so sad. [07:56] It's tragic. [07:56] Yeah. [07:57] Yeah. [07:58] So not only do they leave the source of [08:00] life, but they've gone [08:01] off to build these cisterns. [08:04] Yeah. [08:04] They get filled up, everything quick. [08:06] And also dries up. [08:07] But they're broken, exactly. [08:08] All of that work for nothing. [08:10] So what happens when you get disconnected [08:14] from the source of living water? [08:17] You dry up. [08:18] Yeah. [08:18] You lose energy. [08:19] You lose joy. [08:21] There's just no life in you anymore. [08:23] Yeah. [08:24] The green becomes gray. [08:26] Yeah. [08:27] Yeah. [08:27] This is what the people [08:28] of Israel did, basically. [08:29] Yeah. [08:29] Like we said before, the children of [08:31] Israel, they start to really suffer. [08:33] Yeah. [08:33] They're doing all this work for nothing. [08:36] The water is coming. [08:37] It's drying up. [08:38] The cisterns are broken. [08:39] Everything is... [08:40] They can't advance. [08:41] They can't grow. [08:41] They can't flourish. [08:42] Yeah. [08:44] God didn't intend them to live this way. [08:46] And that's why he's hurting. [08:48] And we know that Yeshua [08:50] Himself, why did He come to earth? [08:52] to give us life and life abundantly [08:54] John 10-10. [08:55] Yeah. [08:56] The thief comes to kill and destroy, but [08:57] Yeshua came to give us life. [08:59] Yeah. [08:59] So it really reminds me back to what we [09:01] were saying in Genesis, [09:02] that God is really taking us from death, [09:05] you know, and giving us life. [09:07] Exactly. [09:07] God so loved the world [09:08] that He gave His only Son, [09:10] so that He who believes would not perish, [09:12] but have everlasting life. [09:13] Like it's all about God restoring that [09:15] life that was taken. [09:17] A long time ago, I spoke with someone, a [09:19] very shocking conversation. [09:21] And he told me, "My dream [09:23] is actually to be a martyr, [09:25] to die for Yeshua." [09:27] I was shocked, you know. [09:29] And after thinking [09:30] about it, I was thinking, [09:32] "We shouldn't dream to die for Yeshua. [09:34] We should dream to live for Yeshua." [09:36] And to be faithful until [09:38] the end, but to live for Him. [09:39] Amen. [09:40] Not only to live for Him, [09:41] but also to live through Him. [09:43] Yeah. [09:43] Reminds me of John 15, abiding in Him as [09:46] a way to preserve life, [09:49] a way to cultivate fruit. [09:51] You need to have strength [09:52] that is renewed only in Him. [09:54] Living to the fullest, it's walking in [09:57] the ways of the Lord, [09:58] hearing His voice, being close to Him, [09:59] obeying Him, having relationship. [10:02] This is really living to the fullest. [10:04] Yeah. [10:05] And I think that's the [10:06] key to preserving passion, [10:09] to preserving this [10:10] life that we have in us. [10:13] Our relationship with God is not just [10:15] another thing about my life. [10:18] Like our life is Him, and it affects [10:21] every single aspect of our life. [10:24] It really brings us back to the broken [10:26] cisterns of Jeremiah, [10:27] that we, even nowadays, I feel like we [10:29] have cisterns of social media. [10:32] You know, that we dug it. [10:33] Netflix, maybe, you know, or even... [10:35] You want to feel loved, you know, you [10:37] take it from people. [10:38] So yeah. [10:39] And people are sinful, you [10:40] know, they're just people. [10:42] So, it's really, really similar. [10:44] Those broken cisterns are [10:45] broken, and the source of life is, [10:48] it's only gonna last so long, [10:50] eventually, those waters, [10:52] those things that are sitting there, [10:54] stagnant, it's not good for us. [10:55] It's not really giving us life. [10:57] Or even sometimes we can have the right [10:58] mechanics of, you know, [11:00] I'm a believer, so I [11:01] do these religious acts. [11:03] But if they're not founded in [11:05] relationship with God, [11:07] it's like digging a cistern, you know? [11:09] It's like having this, yes, [11:11] stinky waters that it's not good. [11:13] No, we just, we need to stop [11:14] drinking from the cisterns. [11:15] Amen. [11:16] And we need to start drinking from the [11:18] living water, you know? [11:20] And it's like, it says in John 7:38, [11:21] "Whoever believes in me, [11:23] according to what's written, [11:25] streams of living [11:25] water will flow from him." [11:27] Which means Yeshua [11:27] has so much more for us. [11:29] There's so much life that [11:30] He wants to give, you know? [11:32] And He wants us to be full of life, [11:34] but He wants us also to be [11:36] life for others around us. [11:38] Amen. [11:38] I think He wants our [11:39] worship, our prayer, our day-to-day, [11:42] all of these different things. [11:43] The meetings, our [11:43] gatherings, our fellowship, [11:45] to be filled with life, to be [11:46] growing, to be filled with joy, [11:48] and the power of the Holy Spirit. [11:50] It's only through His life. [11:51] So we ask you, Abba, to fill [11:53] us with your life once again. [11:55] And we ask you to show [11:56] us every broken cistern [11:58] that we have dug in our life. [12:00] Things that we just take life from that [12:03] are not from you, God. [12:04] We just ask you, Lord, to bring us back [12:06] to the fountain of living [12:07] water, which is you, God. [12:09] We pray for Israel. [12:10] We pray for all of [12:11] our brothers and sisters [12:12] who are watching right now. [12:13] In the name of Yeshua ha'Mashiakh [12:15] Amen.
