Shilo Ben Hod is an Israeli Messianic Jewish worship leader, releasing hebrew worship from Israel as well as English worship and messages! Together with a group of Israeli young adults they've launched SOLU ISRAEL a ministry advancing God's kingdom in Israel & the Nations.
The worship session opens with a heartfelt plea for God's mercy and forgiveness, drawing directly from Psalm 51. The singer acknowledges their transgressions and asks to be washed clean from unrighteousness and sin, establishing the foundational theme of repentance.
The lyrics express the overwhelming weight of sin that exhausts the soul and depletes strength, describing a point of complete desperation. The singer cries out for God's help, recognizing that without divine intervention, they will be broken.
The focus shifts to celebrating the incomprehensible love of God the Father, the Son's sacrifice, and the indwelling Holy Spirit. The repeated refrain "Who would've believed?" emphasizes the miraculous nature of receiving beauty instead of ashes through Jesus and the transformation promised by the Holy Spirit dwelling within believers.
"Who would've believed? A Father like this, that turns the world upside down, a Son who is ready to lay down His life, the Holy Spirit dwelling in us!"
A cry & a song of repentance, based on Psalm 51, "Kabseni!" we come before the God of Mercy asking Him to wash us clean. Only our creator is able to create "Lev Tahor" - a pure heart in us, and to cleanse us from our sins through the redeeming sacrifice of the Son Of God - Yeshua HaMashiach!
