The worship song 'Sim Banu' begins with the central prayer request to put hunger and thirst in believers' hearts to seek God's kingdom. The opening verses establish the main message of pursuing God's nearness and receiving passion for spiritual communion.
The song contrasts God's provision in the desert with the false satisfaction of worldly possessions. Despite having everything materially, people find themselves spiritually empty, leading to a cry for genuine spiritual hunger and thirst for God's kingdom.
The lyrics acknowledge how human hearts become filled with worldly things, yet the worshippers have emptied their hands of nonsense to focus solely on seeking God. The singular prayer becomes a unified cry for God to put spiritual hunger within them and open the heavens.

We live in a world where everyone is in pursuit of self satisfaction. The world is full of stuff filling one's heart, but our hearts will not be satisfied.
As discples of Messiah Yeshua we are asking for hunger. hunger to pursue God, our Father in heaven, for His nearness!
That thirst pushes us to seek for the living water, we want to wake up and shake off the worldy things make us feel full.
This Hebrew worship song was written by Solu Israel, and filmed in Tel Aviv, Israel.
Tel Aviv is beautiful at night but it is a spiritual desert, JOIN US BAMIDBAR (in the desert😉) crying out for Elohim to pour out hunger on Israel and the nations, to prepare the way for the Lord, to fast and pray until HU YAVO(He comes).
